A B O U T H O M E Y
HOMEY is a San Francisco-based, grassroots non-profit organization with a 24-year history of identifying and addressing the challenges faced by the city's youth, young adults, and families. Through meaningful relationships, unique skill-building workshops, and educational field trips, HOMEY empowers individuals to overcome obstacles and thrive. We also connect participants to essential social services, resources, and provide civic engagement opportunities.
HOMEY works directly with participants various setting including schools, on the streets, and in jails to deliver its programming. Some of our recent work with families includes providing emergency rental assistance, mental health support, COVID-19 testing, food justice and empowerment programs, and conducted youth outdoor trips. In 2023, HOMEY served over 3,500 people through its programs and services. The HOMEY team is proud and excited to continue building with our community and supporting the many families that come through HOMEY’s doors daily.
