HOMEY is a San Francisco-based, grassroots non-profit organization with a 25-year history of identifying and addressing the challenges faced by the city's youth, young adults, and families. Through meaningful relationships, unique skill-building workshops, and educational field trips, HOMEY empowers individuals to overcome obstacles and thrive. We also connect participants to essential social services and resources, and provide civic engagement opportunities.
HOMEY delivers its programming directly to participants in various settings, including schools, on the streets, and in jails. Some of our recent work with families includes providing youth leadership groups, care management, resource referrals, and food pantry services. In 2024-2025, HOMEY served over 2,645 people through all its programs and services. The HOMEY team is proud and excited to continue building with our community and supporting the many families that come through HOMEY’s doors daily. Since 2004, HOMEY has operated a custom T-Shirt and apparel silkscreen business, called Native Graphix. We believe in using art as a form of cultural affirmation, to raise awareness on issues that affect our communities, and to promote social activism.
